To be honest, it has almost been two weeks since Bonnaroo and I am still adjusting to normal life! I took the most spontaneous trip of my (almost) 24 years to go to Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN with my best friend from college, Hunter. I have been wanting to go for a few years now and Hunter and her husband Cameron were determined to make it happen this year. I am so thankful they did because it was such a cool experience!
For those of you that have not been to a major festival like this, it is a lot to take in within a short amount of time. All I can say is wear comfortable shoes, go with the flow and listen to your friends that have been there before. Also, thank goodness that we were staying in an RV because we would definitely not have looked this glam if it were not for air conditioning and real beds ( Thank you Premo Family! ) - I would say we were "glamping" and not camping for sure.
As for our outfits, it was pretty warm outside and got a little cooler at night. We all made sure to wear something cool for the heat and then the key was to accessorize A LOT. Bandanas, bracelets, hats, chunky necklaces and fun sunnies were all great ways to take a normal outfit to festival ready.
I also could not get over how nice and friendly every single person was at the festival! There was no pushing or shoving to get closer to an artist and everyone just smiles and says "Happy Roo!!" as you walk by. I would 100% recommend Bonnaroo to anyone that is into music and loves friendly people! I will definitely be back Roo!
